The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) partners with individuals and communities to support Ohioans with developmental disabilities and their families in achieving a good life. The Division of Medicaid Development and Administration (MDA) develops policies related to Medicaid-funded services for people with developmental disabilities. Job Duties
What will you do? Plan, evaluate, research, analyze, and direct Medicaid long-term services & supports administered by DODD for ICFs for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Coordinate development of policies, procedures, rules, and program planning. Assist higher-level administrators with program development and coordination. Conduct needs assessments. Analyze data related to access, rates, and service utilization; prepare reports. Review grant requests and budget proposals. Respond to inquiries from the public, providers, and officials. Advise management on data trends. Review and clear cost reports for rate setting. Oversee bed hold approval, audit process, and monitor licensure and development in relation to franchise fees and system access. Lead new program and IT initiatives. Represent the department at meetings, conferences, and committees. Act as liaison with community, stakeholders, and other agencies. Testify at hearings and develop presentations. Attend meetings and trainings, collaborate with agencies, and perform other duties as assigned. Why Work for the State of Ohio

Graduate degree in business, management, public administration, public health, health administration, social sciences, or public finance, plus 12 months' experience in health services delivery or project management. Alternatively, experience as a Medicaid Health Systems Specialist may substitute for experience but not for licensure if required. If overseeing clinical assessments or payment policies, a valid Ohio nursing license is required. Equivalent qualifications may be considered. Additional Information
