POSITION Software Quality Assurance Analyst III Meridian Cooperative, Inc. (Atlanta, GA) Some telecommuting permitted DUTIES Leads in the creation and execution of test designs, strategies, cases, and scenarios. Develops and executes manual and/or automated test cases ensuring the functionality of the software and systems are functioning per requirements. Write detailed, step-by-step test cases for the most complex issues. Conducts tests before product launches to ensure software runs correctly and meets client needs. Monitors all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards and advises management of any corrective actions required. Develops requirements, specifications, and technical design documents and provides timely and meaningful feedback. Develop test methods and create test plans for new or updated software projects. Diagnose and recommend corrective actions to ensure product quality. Monitors the debugging process results. Determines regression test scenarios to ensure existing functionality was not affected by new development. Reviews quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Applies SME level knowledge of complex testing practices, concepts, and procedures to the software lifecycle and recommends appropriate testing options. Proactively communicates with developers, designers, analysts, scrum masters, and testers to relay testing status and issues. Identifies and communicates issues and risks to management. Mentors Level I and II QA Analysts. SALARIES $118,414 /yr REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in Computer Science or a closely related IT field. Five years of progressive experience in the offered role or similar. Working knowledge of Ranorex, SQL Developer, XMS, Server Test, JIRA, Confluence, Manual testing, Functional testing, Regression testing, Integration testing, E2E testing, Automation testing, API Testing, Postman, and SoapUI. Some telecommuting permitted from the Atlanta Metro Area.
