Washington Episcopal School in Bethesda, Maryland, is seeking personnel with experience with pre-school aged children to help in their Extended Day Program. The Extended Day program serves students in Pre-Kindergarten 3 through Grade 8 from 3:30 - 6:00 p.m. every day except Friday when the student hours are 2:30 - 6:00 p.m. The mission of the program is to provide a safe environment in which students in Nursery through Grade 8 spend time outside on the playground, enjoy snacks and activities, and work on school assignments.
Qualified candidates will possess at least a High School diploma, and preferably some college. They should have successful experience working with young children, as a summer camp counselor, substitute teacher or childcare provider.
