DescriptionFunctioning under the clinical guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer, the staff nurse participates in the assessment and care of clinic patients. This involves a variety of tasks requiring judgment born of a solid knowledge and expertise in general nursing theory. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Interacts with patients and employees in a respectful manner consistent with the mission and values of CareSouth Carolina.Provides the required documentation for every visit.Maintains a clean environment for performing patient care.Injections will be administered using the 7 patient administration rights (right patient, right time, right medication, right route, right dose, right reason, right documentation).Performs callbacks promptly.Assists with referrals as needed.SKILLS/EXPERIENCEMust be licensed to work as an LPN in the State of South Carolina Must be CPR certifiedSix to twelve months of experience in a community health care center or family practice setting is preferredHOURSFull-time, 40 hours per week.
