Receiving Clerk
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and documenting all incoming deliveries for the hotel. This role ensures inventory is properly accounted for, stored, and distributed to the appropriate departments while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and compliance with internal and brand standards. What You'll Do: Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices Record all items received and report discrepancies or damages to the Purchasing Manager Ensure proper storage of perishable and non-perishable items following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices and food safety standards Deliver goods to departments in a timely and organized manner Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving dock and storage areas Work closely with vendors and delivery drivers to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel standards Assist with inventory counts and inventory control procedures Adhere to company policies, safety regulations, and security protocols Support other purchasing and storeroom duties as assigned The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing.
