Part-Time Accounting Clerk

We're currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Part-Time Accounting Clerk to support our accounting operations. Position Summary: The Part-Time Accounting Clerk will perform a variety of accounting and administrative duties to support our business office. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Process and post accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Reconcile daily cash, checks, and credit card payments Assist with month-end closing and journal entries Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies Provide administrative support to the Controller and the office team Qualifications: Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience required; automotive dealership experience is a plus Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, Dealertrack, or similar preferred) Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred Work Schedule: 2025 hours per week Flexible schedule available MondayFriday during business hours Benefits: Competitive hourly compensation Supportive, team-oriented work environment Employee discounts on vehicle service and parts Opportunities for growth within a respected dealership group Complimentary access to our in-house fitness center How to Apply: Please email your resume and a brief cover letter to Brisa Feltus at brisaf@loveringvolvo.com.
