About The Role:
A well-established automotive dealership in
West Palm Beach
is looking for a skilled and reliable
Accounting Clerk
with
prior dealership accounting experience
to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and ready to grow within a dynamic dealership environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Process daily accounting transactions for vehicle sales, service, and parts Post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy Manage accounts payable and receivable Reconcile bank statements and dealership schedules Assist with month-end and year-end closings Ensure compliance with dealership policies and accounting standards
Requirements:
Minimum 12 years of accounting experience in an automotive dealership is required Familiarity with dealership management systems (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with multi-store or high-volume dealership operations Knowledge of DMV paperwork and vehicle titling processes
Pay Details:
$23.00 to $28.00 per hour
