We are currently seeking a highly motivated seasoned professional to lead multiple retail programs with a wide array of exciting projects nationwide - in person for our Reston, VA office. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage client relationships and a multi-discipline team, execute design concepts, and advance projects through entitlements, documentation, and construction. POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager has full responsibility for managing all aspects of multiple projects and collaborates in the preparation of strategic plans for program success. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating all technical and administrative efforts to ensure efficient and cost-effective project execution. Serves as the primary client liaison and is responsible for completing multiple projects to meet the firm’s high standards and client goals. Actively manages project team assignments, work plans, schedules, communication, and documentation. Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts for client presentation. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Mentor staff in developing industry knowledge and architectural skills. Engage in learning about new codes, technologies, and materials. Lead coordination and communication efforts with consultants, engineers, and third-party vendors. Research, establish, and adhere to city/county agency requirements. Participate in AHJ meetings and presentations during the entitlement process. Oversee and support administrative staff during permitting. Maintain continuous flow of critical information. Review drawings and specifications for quality control and assurance for submittals to review agencies. Direct the preparation and issuance of bid documents. Perform all construction contract administration tasks and attend construction meetings as needed. Issue and record Change of Service Agreements promptly when work outside the original scope is requested. Establish and maintain financial oversight of projects through development and supervision of schedules and budgets. QUALIFICATIONS

8-12 years of professional experience. Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited program; Architectural licensure (or in progress). Extensive experience in Retail typology across multiple states. Advanced understanding of architectural design and related fields. Advanced understanding of site utilities and interdisciplinary coordination. Advanced knowledge of codes and successful permitting process completion. Advanced knowledge of architectural detailing and current standards. Advanced understanding of Addenda and Construction Change Directive procedures. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit (latest version) and other relevant software. Excellent oral and written English communication skills. Authorized to work in the U.S. Equal Opportunity Employer
