to identify a

Finance Associate Attorney

to join its

Finance & Transactions practice

in

Chicago, New York, or Dallas . This role is ideal for attorneys who are energized by complex deal work and ready to deepen their practice within a sophisticated, team-oriented platform that prioritizes mentorship, business development, and client exposure. About the Role

In this position, you will play a central role in structuring, negotiating, and managing a range of commercial finance transactions. The team supports a diverse client base—including financial institutions, lenders, and borrowers—on deals that demand precision, foresight, and efficient execution. As part of this collaborative group, you will: Draft and negotiate loan documents for secured and unsecured lending transactions.

Coordinate and manage all aspects of a deal, including due diligence, closings, and post-closing matters.

Juggle multiple deal timelines and deliverables across a variety of industries.

Work closely with shareholders and senior counsel, with the opportunity to attend client meetings and contribute to strategic decision-making.

Be encouraged to participate in business development and client relationship efforts.

This is not just a back-office drafting role—this is a position that allows a motivated associate to build long-term relationships with clients and become a trusted advisor. Ideal Candidate Profile

To succeed in this position, you should bring: 4–6 years of commercial finance experience

at a law firm, including experience managing transactions from term sheet to closing.

A demonstrated ability to

draft and negotiate loan documents

(including credit agreements, security agreements, and ancillary documentation).

Strong organizational and project management skills with a track record of balancing competing priorities.

A

J.D. from a well-regarded institution

and strong academic credentials.

Admission (or pending admission)

in the jurisdiction where you’ll be working (Illinois, New York, or Texas).

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary:

$280,000 – $320,000, based on experience and location.

Discretionary bonus program tied to performance.
