We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Payroll Professional

to join our North America team. This role is responsible for managing and executing multiple U.S. payrolls across various business units, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a strong understanding of payroll best practices, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance and HR.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and manage end-to-end payroll

for multiple U.S. entities on a regular schedule (bi-weekly, weekly, etc.). Generate and distribute payroll reports, including earnings, deductions, taxes, and other reports as required by senior leadership and Federal/ State requirements on a recurring basis Serve as a key point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, resolving issues and discrepancies promptly and professionally Prepare and submit payroll tax filings, including quarterly and annual returns, ensuring timely payment of payroll taxes Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee information, time and attendance data, payroll transactions, benefit deductions and data changes Ensure

compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws

and regulations. Collaborate with

Finance, HR, and Legal

teams to ensure accurate payroll accounting, reporting, and compliance. Identify and implement

process improvements

to enhance payroll accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls. Support internal and external audits by providing payroll records and documentation. Monitor and reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Stay current with changes in payroll legislation and best practices and proactively recommend updates to policies and procedures. Assist with year-end activities including W-2 processing, tax filings, and reporting. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resource Management or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in U.S. payroll processing, preferably in a shared services or multi-entity environment. Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, UKG, Paylocity) and Microsoft Excel. UKG Pro preferred. Familiarity with payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements. Experience registering for state, unemployment, and local taxes and monitoring/maintaining accounts Experience implementing time and attendance systems Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC). Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma). Exposure to global payroll or multi-country payroll operations is a plus. Why Join Us?

The salary range for this position is currently $48,000-$72,000 depending on skill and experience level
