Dissemination and Implementation Specialist
to perform research and development in collaboration with others for various projects. The role involves planning and supporting the execution of the Research Strategic Framework, managing clinical research protocols, and handling research findings to support program expansion. This position supports the
Traumatic Brain Injury Center of Excellence (TBICoE)
in Silver Spring, MD, a branch of the Defense Health Agency (DHA). TBICoE's mission is to support warfighter brain health through research, dissemination, and clinical standards. Responsibilities include: Coordinating and managing clinical research from strategic planning to dissemination of findings. Supporting implementation, communication, and evaluation of research efforts. Preparing grant applications, developing contracts, and tracking research administration aspects. Developing and monitoring study budgets and performance metrics. Supervisory Responsibilities: Making decisions on hiring, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, and work activities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 8-10 years of experience in disseminating and implementing clinical guidelines may substitute. Additional training in dissemination and implementation science preferred; PMP certification preferred. At least three years of implementation science experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Expertise in developing and evaluating dissemination and implementation plans. Ability to work with clinical personnel across military and civilian sectors. Project management skills, knowledge of DHA/DoD policies, excellent judgment, communication, and coordination skills. U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a T3/Secret clearance. Physical Capabilities: Lifting materials up to 25 lbs. Prolonged sitting or standing at a computer. Work Environment: Primarily office setting. Compensation: Annual salary range: $88,600 - $150,800, based on experience and education. Benefits: Comprehensive health, dental, vision, retirement, and other benefits.
