Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Supply Chain is a high-impact leadership role responsible for optimizing SES's supply chain operations and driving the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you'll work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and branch teams to align planning with strategic business goals-while mentoring a team of planners and contributing to continuous improvement efforts across the network.
What You'll Do
Lead S&OP Process: Drive collaboration between Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure accurate forecasts, aligned supply plans, and proactive inventory strategies. Manage a Team: Oversee and coach Demand and Supply Planners, ensuring accountability, development, and alignment with company goals. Optimize Inventory: Prevent stockouts and excess inventory through strategic planning, transfers, and vendor returns. Analyze and Report: Maintain KPIs and dashboards to monitor forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and stockout rates. Improve Processes: Implement efficiencies using insights and modern tools-especially as we maximize the capabilities of our new ERP system. What Makes You a Great Fit
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (Master's preferred) Experience: 5-7 years in supply chain roles, with 3+ years in demand/supply planning leadership Industry Background: Experience in mid-sized distribution, manufacturing, or complex retail environments Certifications: APICS CPIM, CSCP, or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred Skills:
Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development Deep expertise in supply planning, forecasting, and ERP systems Strategic thinking with a data-driven, detail-oriented mindset Excellent communication and collaboration abilities How We Measure Success
