Job Description:
Basel III , RWA modules are being planned for a lift & shift from one Adenza platform to another. We need a competent Axiom developer who can be part of a growing team of Axiom developers. Participating in series of development activities in Basel III, RWA lift & shift project. . Working closely with risk and finance IT partners to understand the requirements & to translate those requirements into Adenza code. Participating in BAU support activities such as vendor patch updates and solution upgrades. Hands on development of ETL jobs, Shell scripting and delivering the functionality details in technical specifications. Development and review of PL SQL & other DB code to support date sourcing into Axiom. Ensuring code written meets the predefined company and departments standards. Must have prior performance tuning experience both inside the Axiom controller view as well as at the DB level. Preparation and execution of detailed unit test cases. Creation of Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthand's, Portfolios, Aggregations, Fee Form and Tabular Report and workflows using AXIOM controller view tool based on Regulatory report requirements. Migration of Axiom components from one environment to another. 80% development; 20% production support Requirements:
Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience as a developer in IT Industry. Minimum 3 years of hard-core hands-on development experience with Axiom controller view - close familiarity with Basel III, RWA, SCCL modules is a plus Knowledge & hands on expertise on various regulatory & risk reporting modules in Axiom such as (Prime reports, CCAR, SCCL, FR2052a etc) Familiarity & hands on experience with financial & reporting data Proven analytical skills & problem-solving capabilities are must Good communication skills (verbal & written) is must Ability to work closely with business partners & technology teams and having the ability to provide walkthroughs. Understanding the Functional documents and work with BA/Users to develop the reports. Good experience in Regulatory Reporting and Data Warehousing Must have the ability to review project related documents such as BRD, FSD and understand the design and solutions architecture with minimal guidance. Must have the ability to create Axiom objects such As Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthand's, Portfolios, Aggregations along with other data mapping activities. Must have prior experience in mapping and configuring free form reports, tabular reports and automation of Axiom workflows. Prior experience on configuring APAC taxonomy reports (Singapore, Australia) and EMEA regulatory reporting initiatives is must. Prior experience and knowledge on US regulatory reports is a must - FR2052a, FFIEC031, FFIEC041, FFIEC009 etc., An Axiom Developer in a fast-paced environment, must be a self-starter, comfortable dealing with clients, VERY strong communication skills.
