Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group (KellyOCG), a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc., is currently seeking an Inventory Specialist at one of our Global clients in Mooresville, IN. Title: Inventory Specialist Location: Mooresville (46158) Pay: open; plus benefits and PTO Hours: M-F 8 hour day shift, flexible shift times. Must be flexible to work some weekends and overtime if needed. Duration: Through the end of the year with possible renewal. Job Requirements: Receive purchased materials from carriers. Count and verify material from suppliers, and check for damage. Unpack shipping containers, remove trash and prepare for the next operations. Distribute materials to appropriate area. Expedites distribution on priority deliveries. Job Responsibilities: Responsible and accountable for data entry in the Blue Yonder warehouse management system. Responsible for correcting all data entry errors reconciliation any troubleshooting necessary. Responsible for resolving receiving discrepancies with appropriate buyer or department. Responsible for safe handling of product and equipment. Maintain housekeeping standards at all times for a clean, conducive work environment. Performs other special projects or related duties as required. Helps out in other areas of the warehouse as needed. Perform special projects or other duties as required. Work in cross-trained areas, and any additional responsibilities assigned by Supervisor or Manager. Responsible to comply with FDA standards ensuring applicable Work Instruction accurately reflect daily activities. Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to ones job, and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times. Enter inventory transactions: create re-work work orders, cycle count second checks, credit returns, returned merchandise, and shipments received into the JDE inventory system. Performs other miscellaneous duties related to function including but not limited to: researching inventory inaccuracies, support daily cycle counts when needed, support the movement and disposition of product for stock evaluations/holds. Identify areas for improvement. Helps develop and implement improvement projects and performs special projects and other duties as required. Participates in Lean Training, Waste Walks, and VSMs continuous training with Microsoft office application. Strong communication skills and drive to learn and grow in the role. Work is detailed, and concentrated mental and visual attention is required to plan and perform work while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Flexible, able to juggle priorities depending on volume and time frame requirements on a daily basis. Works semi-independently in a fast paced environment. Experience: 0-2 years or more High school or GED equivalent Must be able to pass background check and drug screening Experience with Microsoft office products Word and Excel experience required Basic computer experience Experience with warehouse management systems is preferred; Blue Yonder experience is a plus Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Up to 10 domestic travel is required While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
