Digital Artist Role At Tailored Brands

Your role includes: Digital Retouching/Production of high-quality work that exemplifies Tailored Brands' standards Management, prioritization, and forecasting bandwidth/workload for the Digital Artist Team Overseeing work assignments/schedules/calendars Mentoring and supporting direct reports with development, roles and responsibilities, and training Hiring and managing on-call and freelance Digital Artist staff Partnering with production to forecast, manage, improve workflows with external retouch vendors Collaboration with Marketing and Creative teams: Defining asset-production service levels Receiving and distributing creative direction, maintaining brand standards, negotiate deadlines Accurately and promptly delivering quality final retouched assets Reviewing of current processes; implementation of better tools and technologies Focus on retouching and editing on-figure and laydown photography in a high-volume studio: Maintaining image quality, standards, and metrics Strong understanding of digital file handling, photography, and graphic design Familiar with all product imagery and digital asset workflows Ensuring visual consistency of images within projects and across overall websites: Evaluating final retouched assets against imagery brand standards Deciphering, embracing, and executing markup requests Ability to understand the overall brand vision/goal Quality control: Verifying color of products using physical samples and reference files Photoshop action sets, image resolution, color space, and image file formats Overseeing and reporting KPIs/metrics on a weekly/monthly basis, meeting daily deadlines and quotas Partnering with Producers, Marketing Systems, and other Production partners on workflow and file management with internal systems Minimum qualifications include: Minimum of 7+ years of relevant photo retouching experience in a high-volume environment Advanced degree or equivalent work experience in the photography, design, or related field Strong visual skills, attention to detail, and an eye for consistency and color Portfolio displaying before and after retouched imagery Advanced retouching, compositing, masking, and color correction abilities Experience with animated GIFs, Video, or Print are a plus Advanced understanding of Adobe Photoshop CC and Capture One Pro Photoshop scripting, automation technique capabilities, Wacom utilization Knowledge of Video editing, Print, and animated GIFs are a bonus Proficient in Mac OS, Excel, Word, Google Docs, and use of FTP Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize Exceptionally organized with the ability to complete projects against deadlines Effectively communicate with cross-functional partners when problem solving Excellent color and photographic vision Keen understanding of lighting, reflections, and textures, and how they affect color Driven by both creative and technical problem-solving abilities Exhibits continuous desire to learn and bring industry trends and improvements to internal team and work Thrives in a high-volume collaborative, fast-paced, and feedback-driven environment Self-reliant, proactive, independently motivated, and can demonstrate success in current role Desire to stay on top of industry trends including new techniques and tools to continuously push quality forward
