The Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for delivering data-driven insights through enterprise reporting and visualization. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into effective Power BI dashboards and supporting the migration of enterprise data systems. The analyst ensures data accuracy, promotes automation in reporting processes, and maintains compliance with data governance and security standards to support strategic decision-making.
WHAT we need you to do. Perform the duties of a Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst with a primary focus on enterprise reporting and data analysis. Responsible for gathering requirements and turning those requirements into actionable insights in the form of reports/data visualizations. Design, develop, test, validate, and deploy Business Intelligence solutions, including reports and data visualizations across various business areas. This role supports the migration of enterprise data warehouse and other reporting applications while ensuring data accuracy and efficiency to produce high-quality reports and visualizations that facilitate data-driven business decisions. Ensure data accuracy and efficiency for high-quality reporting and visualizations. Ensure reporting solutions conform to security and privacy standards. Provide support to users and evaluate functional and technical problems. Develop and improve processes for reporting through automation and tool integration. Participate in special projects and ad hoc analysis as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. WHAT you need to possess.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field. 5+ years of experience in data management, business intelligence, or analytics. Strong experience designing and building Power BI dashboards and reports. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SQL, experience with Power Automate is a plus. Solid understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data transformation best practices. Familiarity with data governance, master data management, and data security standards. Demonstrated ability to think critically, challenge assumptions, and contribute strategic insight. Team-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. WHY Copperweld?
