Shipping Associate
Are you organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in warehouse or shipping operations? Our client is seeking a reliable Shipping Specialist to manage product shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. This hands-on role requires strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Duties
Manage the shipment of all products, materials, and supplies. Pull stock, securely package contents, and ship according to customer requirements. Prepare pallet shipments and ensure contents meet specifications. Use computer systems to adjust inventory levels and maintain accurate shipping records. Prepare and confirm correct packing lists for all outgoing shipments. Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock counts, and ensure accurate records are maintained. Maintain inventory of shipping and packing supplies (bubble wrap, boxes, bags, strapping tape, shipping tape, etc.). Pull and hold product ahead of scheduled shipments to ensure availability by customer due dates. Immediately notify management if inventory is insufficient to fulfill an order. Operate a forklift for loading and unloading as needed (certification required). Rotate stock according to FIFO (First In, First Out). Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following all safety protocols. Perform other duties as assigned to support shipping and warehouse operations. Requirements
High school diploma or GED required. Prior warehouse or shipping experience preferred. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Positive attitude with the ability to engage and collaborate with coworkers. Why Work With Us?
