Palliative Care Clinician Educator Opportunity
The Division of General Internal Medicine, Section of Palliative Care is seeking outstanding clinician educators for tenure-track appointment at the assistant or associate professor level. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, thriving palliative care team in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. Ideal candidates will be strong clinicians with an interest in professional development. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and eligible for medical licensure in South Carolina. This is a clinical, full-time 1.0 FTE faculty position. Our team is expanding our outpatient palliative footprint within established clinical practices in the Charleston area. Primary clinical responsibilities will consist of outpatient palliative care. Overall cFTE and related number of outpatient clinic sessions or weeks of inpatient service will be offset proportionally by any funded effort for teaching or other leadership roles or grants that cover your salary. Salary will be commensurate with the applicant's qualifications and professional experience.
