American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager with a BSN and acute care case management background for an adult and geriatric med-surg population, no weekends or holidays required.

•Work in a hospital-based Case Management unit, •Handles adult and geriatric patient populations in a med-surg setting, •Patient caseload is 1:35, •Day shifts with a 5x8 hour schedule, 8:00 to 16:30, •No weekend or holiday shifts required, •Floating may occur in rotation with the facility's own staff and according to floating policies, •Cerner experience is preferred but not required,
Job Requirements
•Active MA RN license in hand or pending through approved licensing project, •Minimum of 3 years recent acute care case management experience, •Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required, •Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, •Case Management Certification preferred, •Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred,

•Primary responsibilities include case management for adult and geriatric med-surg patients, •Use of Kronos system for timekeeping and electronic badge swiping required, •Return staff must wait at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler, •Standard contract length is 14 weeks, •First-time travelers are welcome to apply, •Background policy is evaluated on a case-by-case basis,], •hash,: •16837460089286216567,
