Urgent Spanish Speaking Caregiver Needed
The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides clients various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence. Essential Functions: Personal Care Provide assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, back care, shampoo, oral hygiene, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheelchair), change of position, with toileting. Companion/Sitter/Household Management Provide companionship and respite services for family. Stand-by assist with transfers for fall risk clients Client is a woman in her 80s with Dementia and the family needs immediate assistance for companionship and medication reminders. Day shift hours 7 am to 7 pm on rotation. Qualifications/Educational Requirements: High school graduate or G.E.D certificate Ability to read, write, speak and understand Spanish & English as needed for the job Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job Negative TB Test Must be: Willing to keep client active Good at communicating Have driver's license and car Some benefits include: Training Programs This job description is used as a guide only and not inclusive of responsibilities and job duties.
