Urgent Spanish Speaking Caregiver Needed
We are urgently hiring a Spanish speaking caregiver for a 12-hour shift from 7 am to 7 pm on rotation. Previous home health aide experience is required, with training available. The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides clients with various personal care and homemaker/companion services in accordance with an established plan of care so that they can remain in their residence. Essential Functions:
Personal Care
Provide assistance with: bathing, dressing, grooming, skin care, back care, shampoo, oral hygiene, transfers, range of motion exercise, safe use of equipment and assistive devices (wheelchair), change of position, with toileting.
Companion/Sitter/Household Management
Provide companionship and respite services for family
Stand-by assist with transfers for fall risk clients Client is a woman in her 80s with Dementia and the family needs immediate assistance for companionship and medication reminders. Day shift hours 7 am to 7 pm on rotation. Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
High school graduate or G.E.D certificate Ability to read, write, speak and understand Spanish & English as needed for the job Possess a valid driver's license and have use of an insured automobile or access to adequate transportation for the job Negative TB Test Must be willing to keep the client active, good at communicating, and have a driver's license and car.
