Cleans and services assigned area according to performance and safety standards to ensure a clean, comfortable, safe and attractive environment. Job Title: EVS Attendant Department: Environmental Services Reports To: Supervisor EVS FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt License Type: Non-Gaming Target Pay: Start - $23.04 One Year - $25.60 Essential Job Functions: Keep all public and designated back of the house areas free of debris (i.e. glasses, bottles, cans, paper, etc.) Clean and sanitize back of house and public areas in casino as directed Remove and dispose of trash from all trash receptacles and replace liners in public and back of house areas Keep all public and back of house restrooms clean and stocked Clean all floor and wall tile areas in casino as directed Vacuuming of all carpeted areas public and back of house Dusting, polishing, and general cleaning of all public and back of the house areas in the casino, including all glass, mirrored surfaces and windows Sweep and mop stairwells Clean all slot machines to include all glass, wood and veneer surfaces Clean elevators, elevator tracks, and elevator foyers Let the supervisor know of any products that need ordering (Chemicals, equipment, etc.) Refill chemical stations and bottles All other duties as assigned Qualifications: Must be familiar with Hazardous Material/SDS procedures and OSHA requirements Ability to communicate and maintain a high level of courtesy with casino guests and team members Desire and willingness to learn Ability to be a TEAM player Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays and weekends Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing Working Conditions: Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk Must occasionally lift and lift up to 50 pounds Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
