As an Account Executive at Stripe, you will drive Stripe’s growth by building relationships with prospective clients and converting them into satisfied Stripe users. You are an experienced salesperson capable of engaging in both business-level and technical conversations across various organizational levels, including CTO, COO, and CFO. You have a background working with upper middle market and enterprise companies, with a deep understanding of the buyer journey and the ability to lead complex, multi-party, consultative sales processes. You excel in creating value in competitive situations and enjoy products that require thorough product knowledge and technical expertise. Naturally analytical, you enjoy analyzing business models and helping customers quantify their investment decisions. You are enthusiastic about prospecting and capable of independently managing the entire sales cycle from start to finish. Additionally, you like to contribute to developing our sales process, articulating our value proposition, and creating key tools and assets. You will: Own a designated account list and develop plans to win and expand business with upper middle market and enterprise companies. Create outbound strategies to generate and nurture opportunities. Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals. Build relationships with executive stakeholders at new and existing clients. Collaborate with leaders across functions (Engineering, Product, Finance) to lead product workshops and financial analyses. Participate in team projects to improve our sales process. Engage with Product and Engineering teams to influence product strategy. We’re looking for someone who has: 7+ years of sales experience, preferably in a technology company, with a proven track record of top performance. Ability to understand complex technical requirements and develop solutions across multiple products. Experience in developing and executing account plans across multiple business units within complex organizations. Strong presentation skills, especially for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders. Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving customized commercial agreements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment. A strong interest in technology. You should include these in your application:
