About the Technical Support for Production Operations Position: This role involves providing technical support for Production Operations at Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control in Troy, Alabama. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the development and operation of automated test equipment for missile production, assembly, integration, and testing. Creating and maintaining detailed test plans and procedures. Providing hands-on manufacturing floor support for electrical and electronic component integration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of military missiles. Interpreting engineering requirements from product data drawings, parts lists, specifications, and schematics. Demonstrating expertise in electronic circuit testing and analysis to assist with missile production and testing. Using statistical data for trend analysis to detect potential failures, conducting detailed failure analysis, and implementing corrective and preventative actions. Qualifications: Bachelors degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field from an accredited college. Familiarity with testing and troubleshooting electronic circuits. Must be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance. Lockheed Martin will assist with obtaining an Interim Secret Clearance. Ability to pass an ATF background check to become an employee possessor of explosives or ATF-regulated items. Desired Skills: Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and schematics. Basic understanding of electronic circuits. Experience with electronic test equipment such as Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, Logic Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Frequency Counters, and Network Analyzers. Strong hands-on skills in assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, industrial, or home equipment. Experience with programming languages like C, C++, C#, and software such as LabVIEW, TestStand, with hardware integration is highly desirable. Knowledge of general manufacturing processes. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
