We are seeking a highly experienced
Data Architect
to join our team in Woodbridge Township, NJ. This role is ideal for a senior-level architect with deep expertise in building innovative, scalable, data-intensive solutions and providing technical leadership across data initiatives. The successful candidate will split their time between leadership responsibilities and hands-on technical delivery.
Lead design and implementation of
enterprise data solutions
for complex, large-scale applications.
Work closely with partners in
Infosec, Infrastructure, and Operations
to establish best practices for data and system integration.
Identify, manage, and remediate
IT risk and technical debt
across projects.
Guide and mentor
data analysts, engineers, and software teams
.
Build self-serve solutions leveraging both
on-premise and cloud technologies
.
Drive
data sourcing, integration, and architecture
from the ground up (Greenfield development).
Hands-on Responsibilities:
Backend and
ETL development
in batch or on-demand environments.
Data analytics and reporting
using PowerBI, SAS Viya, Tableau.
Cloud-based data solutions including
OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF), OpenShift Data Access (ODA), BigQuery, Snowflake, Talend Cloud, Databricks
.
ETL tools such as
Alteryx, Talend, Xceptor, Apache Camel, Kafka Streams
.
Data virtualization with tools like
Dremio, BigQuery Omni, Red Hat Virtualization
.
Integration using
REST APIs, Apigee, Kafka, JSON
.
Data governance:
data modeling, metadata management, data lineage, data dictionary
.
Database management:
MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Teradata, Apache Spark
and deployment tools like
Liquibase
.
Development with
Java 8+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Microservices
.
Containerization and orchestration using
Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
.
Cloud providers experience:
OpenShift (OCP), GCP, Azure
.
CI/CD tools:
Jenkins, Harness, UCD, GitHub, Maven, Gradle
.
DevSecOps tools:
SonarQube, GitLab, Checkmarx, Black Duck
.
Logging and monitoring tools:
ELK Stack, Splunk, AppDynamics
.
Scripting:
Python, Bash, Shell
.
Test automation:
Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, JUnit, JMeter, RestAssured, Postman

Agile development with
Scrum/Kanban

Jira and Confluence

Required Qualifications:
8+ years
as a Data Architect with a proven record of leading data-driven enterprise applications.
5+ years
in Greenfield projects, leading data integration and establishing best practices.
7+ years
in delivering self-serve solutions using both on-prem and cloud tools.
Strong background in
technical leadership, risk management, and team collaboration
.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a
fast-paced, Agile environment
