Responsibilities

 A progressive pediatric group of neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners are seeking a physician assistant for an excellent neonatal fellowship opportunity!Â

Program details: The Physician Assistant Neonatal Post-Graduate Training Program  The Physician Assistant Neonatal Post-Graduate Training Program with Pediatrix Neonatology of San Antonio is a 12-month intensive program designed for graduate physician assistants (PAs) seeking to subspecialize in neonatology. This program provides PAs with the crucial skills needed to deliver comprehensive, team-based care for high-risk and convalescing newborns. The program runs 12-months and includes: Mentoring Didactic teaching Simulations Skills training Clinical experiences  Pediatrix Medical Group of San Antonio: The group provides a full range of newborn/neonatal care in three inner-city hospital systems with multiple Level-II and Level-III+ NICUs The medical community includes a wide range of mother and infant subspecialists supported by two childrenâs hospitals for this growing South Texas area Responsibilities include managing and facilitating comprehensive neonatal care including programs for HFOV, nitric oxide and ECMO We welcome new graduates and provide a comprehensive new graduate orientation and mentor program Known as a big city with the feel of a small town, San Antonio is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States. Qualifications

Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited PA Program Must be a NCPPA Certified PA prior to matriculating Must attain licensure as a PA in TX prior to matriculating
