Our very good, directly client in the Non-Profit space, has an immediate need for an IT Support Manager. This person will sit on-site in their Bushwick Brooklyn location. This is an immediate need. The IT Support Manager will lead a small team of IT professionals and ensure the reliable operation, security, and performance of all IT infrastructure and services. This hands-on leadership role combines strategic oversight with day-to-day technical responsibilities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 23 IT specialists; assign tasks and monitor performance. Install, configure, and support servers, desktops, laptops, and peripherals. Design, implement, and maintain Active Directory (on-premises and Azure AD). Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Configure and manage single sign-on (SSO) solutions and enforce identity management policies. Deploy and support Microsoft Intune for endpoint and device compliance management. Plan and oversee system implementations, upgrades, and migrations. Manage hardware/software inventory, licensing, and lifecycle planning. Handle user onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning and deprovisioning. Act as the primary escalation point for complex IT issues both onsite and remotely. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and knowledge base entries. Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to meet project goals and budget targets. Support organizational security and compliance efforts through group policy enforcement and access reviews. Perform other IT-related duties as required. Qualifications and Competencies: Strong technical skills across Microsoft O365, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Azure AD. Proven leadership in managing technical teams and IT projects. Expertise in Group Policy, system administration, and device management platforms like Intune. Understanding of identity standards (SAML, OAuth) and security best practices. Familiarity with networking concepts including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN. Solid organizational and project-management skills with experience coordinating vendors. Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation abilities. Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, especially when explaining complex technical concepts. Ability to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities. Experience in hardware deployment and basic equipment support (desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices). Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 25 lbs. Self-directed and effective both independently and within a team. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 5 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead capacity. Experience in a managed services provider (MSP) or consulting environment is a plus.
