The Role:
This position is for an SAP Information and Technology Services Project Manager. You will collaborate with procurement, accounting, finance, engineering, IT&S, facilities, and external vendors to successfully deliver projects. You will serve as a subject matter expert on PMO processes, tools, and deliverables, supporting other procurement resources in project management and driving process improvements within the PMO. Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Manage projects through all phases, from initiation to close, following PMO best practices. Build strong relationships with teams, sponsors, stakeholders, vendors, and leadership, proactively addressing issues.
Lead project intake and approval processes, establishing clear goals, scope, budget, and schedule with the project team.
Oversee project teams and external consultants, ensuring deliverables meet NW Natural standards.
Identify and manage project risks and issues periodically.
Develop and manage project budgets, monitor costs, and analyze variances.
Assess and communicate changes in scope, cost, and schedule; manage Change Order processes as needed.
Handle project communications, including meetings, reports, and stakeholder updates, ensuring transparency.
Manage project resources, including FTEs and contractors, providing clear guidance and resolving performance issues.
Coordinate RFP development and issuance with procurement, and manage vendor relationships and schedules.
Prepare and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Perform other duties as assigned, including process improvement projects. What to Bring on Your First Day:

Strong communication and presentation skills.
Analytical skills with attention to detail.
Facilitation skills and tactful communication.
Credibility at all organizational levels.
Knowledge of project management theories and techniques, especially for IT, construction, or engineering projects.
Experience managing complex projects with cross-functional dependencies.
Master's degree in business, technology, engineering, construction, or related field (preferred).
PMI or equivalent certification (preferred).
8+ years of progressive project management leadership experience.
Experience with ITIL, SOX controls, SAP, S/4Hana, Azure Dev Ops, SharePoint, and Microsoft products.
Utility industry experience and SAP software management experience.
Ability to lead project teams of varying sizes and oversee vendors. What We Offer:
