Location: Birmingham, MI
(WFH Flex after onboarding, 1-2 days/week) Salary: $125,000-$175,000 (DOE) + Performance Incentives Benefits: Medical

401k, PTO, Holidays Job Type: Full-Time Start Date: ASAP Billable hours: 1800 Description Our client is looking for an Associate Attorney to join their firm located near Bloomfield Hills, MI. They are a boutique firm that specializes in a variety of commercial litigation cases. Our client has made it a point to lead their firm in a way that champions respect and harmonious partnerships. Although they are a smaller firm, they go up against the biggest players in town so you will have exposure to a variety of cases with opportunities to go to trial. They are looking for an excellent writer who has experience crafting motions for complex cases. Responsibilities Analyze client needs, identify solutions, and determine case strategies Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other necessary legal documents Prepare discovery and oversee discovery answers with clients Conduct legal research and trial preparation Participate in court appearances and depositions Provide guidance, direction, and communication to support staff Communicate with clients and provide status reports Demonstrate exceptional legal research and writing skills Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects Qualifications Michigan Bar License with eligibility to practice law in good standing is required Commercial litigation experience required Strong background writing motions for summary required Important Note:
This role offers WFH flexibility after onboarding and assimilating into their environment. Depending on experience, onboarding can take 6-9 months. After you’ve assimilated, you could have hybrid flexibility and work 1-2 days from your home office.
