The Senior Manager, Material Planning will assist in identifying, sourcing, tracking, and managing all material requirements for Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) for the Games. The role reports to the Head of Material Planning and requires strong analytical skills and excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of Material Planners Oversee the Logistics sub-function Material Identification Work with LA28 Functional Areas to identify FF&E requirements Create a catalog of FF&E items for purchase Build and maintain a material inventory database Collaborate on implementing the FFE data system (SAM) Develop training materials and educate staff on FFE systems Ensure product specifications are loaded into the system Contribute data for financial reports Refine and optimize FFE allocation within budget Material Sourcing Develop procurement schedules and identify issues Assist with sourcing and procurement procedures Support change management for FFE orders Monitor shipping and delivery schedules Planning Support development of Rate Card FFE items Draft procedures for FFE order fulfillment Coordinate with vendors for special requirements Establish relationships with suppliers Operations Track venue-specific inventory levels Coordinate move orders and deliveries Maintain communication with Venue Logistics Oversee on-venue procurement via P-Cards Work with functional areas to ensure high service levels Participate in Logistics Coordination Center Assist with financial and asset dissolution processes Background & Qualifications:

5+ years in Material Planning Experience in major events (Olympics, Asian Games, etc.) preferred Proven project management skills Leadership in managing diverse teams Strong analytical and IT skills (MS Office) Customer service-oriented team player Effective communicator Ability to work under tight deadlines Experience in multicultural environments High attention to detail Position Requirements:
