Your Role:
Reporting to the Site Head of Operations,
the Site Head of EHS and Facilities
is an integral member of the
site leadership team
and as such participates in providing strategic direction for the site. This position is responsible for overseeing a comprehensive environment health and safety (EHS) program, site security and facility operations (HVAC, water, electrical, steam, wastewater treatment, contract services) at the Jaffrey, NH. facility. This position will work closely with peers to build a culture of EHS excellence focused on interdependency and risk reduction, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and permits and instilling a proactive approach to facility operations and infrastructure planning while developing a high performing engaged team. Who you are: Minimum Qualifications: Five plus years progressive leadership experience focused in EHS or manufacturing operations Bachelors required in a relevant discipline (e.g., engineering, safety, environmental, life science, operations, or similar field) Knowledgeable of US EPA, OSHA, DOT and NH DES regulations. Knowledgeable in Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements. Knowledgeable of Occupational Health requirements. Experienced with ISO 14001, 9001, 45001 management systems. Experience in cGMP manufacturing preferred. Experience in managing 24/7 security. Experience in sustainability initiatives. Preferred Qualifications: Professional certification in the EHS field (CHMM, CSP, CIH, or equivalent) preferred. Experience with LEAN, Six sigma methodology desirable. Ability to lead a team of engineers to advance EHS Excellence at the plant. Ability to collaborate and influence across organization, cultures, and functions. Demonstrated risk management skills and business continuity planning. Ability to lead and influence within a matrix organization.
