S2P Sourcing Analyst Hybrid – Remote & Oakland, CA Office (based on business needs) Perm Position

Position Summary The Principal S2P (Source to Pay) Sourcing Analyst will play a pivotal role in leading key sourcing and procurement initiatives that support the company’s business and technology modernization efforts. This role requires deep knowledge of S2P processes and solutions, with a focus on enabling strategic sourcing teams and aligning with broader organizational goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration, drive strategic outcomes, and ensure alignment with the mission to standardize business processes, enhance data quality, and enable innovation for future-state S2P capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Source to Pay (S2P) process within the Propel program, with a focus on strategic sourcing and process efficiency. Represent procurement in all project phases including design workshops, business requirements validation, and future-state process mapping (L3/L4 level). Develop and implement sourcing strategies that optimize cost, supplier performance, and procurement effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sourcing efforts are aligned with business goals and project deliverables. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices in procurement. Address and resolve complex sourcing issues, anticipating problems and delivering innovative solutions. Design and implement advanced data systems with cross-departmental impact. Analyze and interpret complex data models that influence sourcing and procurement outcomes across the organization. Partner with senior management to support strategic planning and data-driven decision-making. Provide training and mentoring to junior sourcing analysts and team members on best practices in S2P processes. Utilize reporting and analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and sourcing effectiveness. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing operations and overall efficiency. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management. Desired Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline. Professional certification such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management). Experience leading large-scale procurement initiatives. Familiarity with utility industry regulations and compliance. Experience using data tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL for analytics and reporting. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and implement organizational change. Proficiency in procurement systems and tools, including SAP Ariba and SQL. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional projects from design through implementation.
