About the Role Are you an experienced Conference Producer with a passion for
content-driven, intellectually engaging events ? This is not a logistics or marketing role; it's a unique opportunity to focus on
content research, agenda creation, and speaker recruitment
for impactful conferences in the
legal and business sectors .
Our client specializes in
high-quality, content-heavy conferences —6–7 annually—that feature
technical topic discussions
with subject matter experts (SMEs) and audiences ranging from
150 to 1,500+ participants . If you're familiar with
scaling up conferences , evaluating their commercial viability, and creating market-driven, innovative events, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Market Research : Conduct in-depth research to identify emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities for commercially viable conference topics.
Agenda Creation : Develop comprehensive, intellectually engaging agendas with clear value propositions for attendees.
Speaker Recruitment : Identify, approach, and secure thought leaders, keynote speakers, and panelists from relevant industries.
Collaboration : Partner with marketing teams to create compelling promotional content.
Event Execution : Oversee the end-to-end delivery of conferences, ensuring content quality and audience engagement.
Who We're Looking For To succeed in this role, you should:
Understand content-heavy conferences : Focus on delivering
technical, topic-driven events
rather than trade shows or exhibitions.
Scale conferences effectively : Have experience producing multiple conferences per year with varying audience sizes.
Evaluate commercial viability : Know what makes a conference profitable and valuable to its audience.
Experience & Skills :
2–5+ years in conference production (business or legal sectors preferred).
Strong research, critical thinking, and networking skills.
Proven ability to build relationships with SMEs and senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree (JD or MBA preferred).
Multilingual candidates (e.g., French, Spanish, or German) are a plus.
Background in defense, aerospace, or technical industries is an advantage.
What’s on Offer Compensation : $75,000–$90,000 USD base + profit-sharing tied to event success.
Flexibility : Fully remote position (Canada: Toronto preferred; USA: East Coast focus).
