Civil Design Project Manager

Qualifications 2 to 10 years of land development and/or public works experience, plus a BSCE or equivalent of five (5) years of total work experience FE certification required Current PE registration is a plus Demonstrated ability for independent thought and decision-making Management and supervisory skills Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with clients, public agency personnel, and in-house professionals Experience should include: Supervision of engineering designers (including daily assignments, review, and quality control) Management of project schedules and budgets Preparation of contracts, proposals, and scopes of work Significant experience in client and public-agency interactions Design experience should include: Residential and commercial subdivisions Drainage systems, water mains, sanitary sewers ADA-compliant sidewalks Municipal infrastructure projects Preparation of plans, technical specifications, bid documents, and cost estimates Required technical skills include experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Smartsheet, or Microsoft Project, as well as WaterCAD, FlowMaster, HEC-1, HEC-RAS. This position generally requires extensive experience and demonstrated engineering abilities in private land development projects, with the ability to interact productively with clients and public agencies. A good driving record is required.
