Senior 5-Axis CNC Machinist Programmer Details : Temp-to-Hire position to $ / hour Full Time work available Weekend work required First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06 : 00am to 04 : 30pm) Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining sequences. Program, set up, and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes using CAM software (Mastercam, NX, etc.). Create and document efficient machine setups and fixture designs. Translate engineering data into optimized machining strategies. Troubleshoot and resolve complex machining and programming issues. Fabricate parts or tooling as needed. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to ensure successful part execution. Optimize programs for accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability. Senior 5-Axis CNC Machinist Programmer Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license. 10+ years of CNC machining experience, including 5-axis programming. Proficiency with CAM software (, Mastercam, NX, GibbsCAM). Strong understanding of G-code, post-processing, and 5-axis machining centers. Skilled in GD&T and interpreting complex technical drawings. Ability to work independently from CAD models and blueprints. Aerospace or high-precision machining experience required. Proven ability to resolve technical machining challenges. Able to operate and set up a variety of manual machines as needed.
