The

Continuous Improvement Manager

will provide a full range of productivity services to Operations and lead cost reduction programs for the facility. Responsibilities include leading lean events, implementing the Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS), developing facility systems, and delivering continuous improvement training. The role involves applying best business practices such as yield improvement, manpower utilization, overhead spend, capital utilization, indirect spend, plant utilization, efficiency, and working capital management. This person will coach staff on KHMS, lead the Site Steering Committee, work closely with the KHMS Task Force, and support front line managers in adopting KHMS principles.

Key Responsibilities of the Role

Develop and update productivity decks.

Identify and implement cost reduction and process improvements.

Coordinate supply chain initiatives to optimize costs across purchasing, distribution, manufacturing, R&D, packaging, and engineering.

Implement and train personnel in MOS, Lean, and Six Sigma processes.

Participate in the annual QRMP audit and assist in developing procedures and corrective actions.

Support the implementation of QRMP and operational standards to meet RCR targets.

Share best practices across the supply chain.

Manage the progression of KHMS using TRACC.

Create and maintain KPI visuals and tracking systems.

Oversee the Priority One system, ensuring training and project updates.

Develop waste analysis for all lines.

Lead plant-wide 5S initiatives.

Manage the department’s operating budget.

Evaluate and develop the Continuous Improvement staff.

Partner with leaders to implement process improvements using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in Industrial Engineering or related discipline.

3-5 years of manufacturing operations experience.

At least 2 years leading CI or transformation projects.

Black Belt certification preferred; Green Belt certification required.

Proven ability to overcome obstacles to meet project goals.

Creative thinking and a drive to innovate productivity improvements.

Strong communication and multitasking skills.

Knowledge of enterprise business principles.

Effective presentation, mentoring, and coaching skills.

Salary Range:

$102,100 - $127,600

Bonus:

Performance-based bonus eligibility.

The actual compensation will consider internal equity, geographic location, and candidate experience.
