DPR is seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Engineer to join our Data and AI team. This role involves collaborating closely with the Data Platform, BI, and Enterprise Architecture teams to shape the technical direction of DPR's data engineering and analytics initiatives. You will work with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical leads, to align business needs with data architecture and to define data models for specific focus areas. Responsibilities

Design, build, and manage the overall data architecture across the data platform, including data lake, data warehouse, and data consumption layers. Develop, optimize, and maintain conceptual and logical data architectures and integrations with internal and external systems. Collaborate with engineering, data, and analytics teams to deliver critical data solutions. Lead high-priority data initiatives using Azure/AWS, Snowflake, and DBT. The role may also involve advanced analytics and AI projects. Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms to meet evolving business needs. Partner with strategic customers to understand their vision and incorporate future requirements into the platform roadmap. Design, build, and own data models, data flows, and integration patterns for data lakes, warehouses, and consumption layers. Support data engineers in developing data models at all levels. Prototype solutions rapidly in cloud platforms to demonstrate feasibility and value. Participate in all project phases and lead data architecture initiatives. Qualifications

Proven expertise in data analysis, modeling, and engineering, especially in cloud-native platforms. 5+ years of experience in a data architecture leadership role, designing and delivering scalable cloud solutions. Hands-on experience with secure, scalable enterprise data architectures on Microsoft Azure or AWS. Deep knowledge of Snowflake and DBT, with experience in building robust ETL/ELT pipelines. Experience designing data structures for data lakes and cloud warehouses supporting analytics and reporting. Strong skills in SQL, Python, and PySpark. Familiarity with agile methodologies and cross-functional team collaboration. Experience automating data pipelines within a DevOps framework. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and promote data-driven transformation. Work Conditions

Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a computer. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally. Occasional domestic travel may be required. This is a hybrid role with most work from home, requiring attendance at key meetings at the DPR office.
