The Vice President (VP) of Finance is a senior leader and integral member of the leadership team at Drucker Diagnostics, responsible for driving the company’s financial success and long-term sustainability. This role oversees all aspects of financial management, including strategic planning and financial operations, while synthesizing financial and operational analyses to guide critical business decisions. Collaborating closely with the President and the leadership team, the VP ensures the operational and financial performance of the business. They manage a team responsible for key accounting and finance functions, including cost accounting, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, cash management, financial reporting, risk management, and data analysis. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Strategic Financial Leadership Develop and implement financial strategies that support the company’s growth objectives and operational excellence. Provide financial insights, critical thinking, and guidance to the President and leadership team to facilitate informed decision-making. Identify and mitigate financial risks specific to the healthcare and medical device industries. Financial Operations Provide analysis and decision support for activities such as growth initiatives, supply chain optimization, and capital investments. Lead the financial planning process, including forecasting, budgeting, and preparing financial statements with insights on cost savings and development initiatives. Oversee timely and accurate financial processing, month-end close, cash management, and balance sheet reconciliation. Prepare financial statements and reports for presentation to the leadership team. Analyze business trends and performance factors, anticipating challenges and opportunities, and translating findings into actionable plans. Manage cash flow, optimize funding strategies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate inefficiencies, automate reporting systems, and streamline processes. Regulatory and Compliance Oversight Plan, manage, and execute accounting functions to provide accurate and timely financial information in compliance with US GAAP and company policies. Ensure adherence to all financial and healthcare-related regulatory requirements. Establish and maintain robust internal controls and audit practices to protect assets. Team Development and Leadership Build and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Partnership and Stakeholder Management Identify and analyze drivers of business performance, implementing measures to improve operational productivity, material costing, overhead and SG&A spending, and working capital efficiency. Cultivate and maintain relationships with investors, auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders to align financial objectives with business goals. Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems. Analytical Agility: Demonstrates a highly analytical mindset, strong technical finance skills, and solid business acumen, with a focus on process orientation and continuous improvement. Critical Thinking: Excels at logical problem-solving and can navigate ambiguity effectively. Communication Excellence: Communicates clearly and persuasively in both written and verbal formats. Capable of engaging with leaders, partners, and internal customers, presenting effectively to groups, and leading partner meetings. Desired Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA or Master’s degree preferred. A minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting or finance, with manufacturing experience highly preferred. Strong expertise in setting up and operating ERP systems, utilizing innovative platforms for data analysis. Proven experience in manufacturing, including analyzing manufacturing P&L. Comprehensive knowledge of General and Cost Accounting principles. Experience with complexity reduction initiatives, such as 80/20 strategies. Advanced data analytics skills and proficiency in Excel. Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to present information to all levels of employees and partners Computer Skills: Basic PC (non-programming skills) Proficiency with MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Word, etc.) Proficiency with ERP and accounting tools, EPICOR preferred Travel Requirements: Travel as required to support organization with some overnight travel Seniority level
