Manager of Grants & Contracts Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 09:00 am to 05:00 pm Hours:

The Manager of Contracts and Grants reports directly to the Controller and oversees the management of government contracts and other funding sources, including private foundations, with a portfolio valued at $20 million across multiple contracts and sources. This is a working managerial role with responsibilities including: Job Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Contracts and Grants:

Supervising two Contracts and Grants Analysts in daily functions Reviewing and preparing contract and grant budgets in compliance with terms Managing contract amendments, close-out budgets, and documentation for government and private grants Managing relationships with funders and city agencies, advocating for WSFSSH Supporting contract execution and development Processing vouchers for payments on contracts and grants Preparing and reviewing consolidated budget and financial reports using NY State software Collaborating with the Budget Manager on budgeting and variance reporting Guiding accounting staff on cost allocation and coding Ensuring compliance with contractual, procurement, and regulatory requirements Monitoring General Ledger accounts related to contracts and grants Managing government contract audits and compliance Interacting with social service directors and building managers regarding contracts and grants Assisting with annual and year-end audits Performing special projects as needed Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Qualifications: Non-profit experience supporting government-funded contracts and grants, interfacing with city, state, and federal agencies (4+ years) Accounting experience with government contracts and grants (4+ years) Supervisory experience (3+ years) Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Effective communication skills Team-oriented with the ability to build relationships Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Experience with process improvement Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Experience with government contract systems such as ELOCCS, PASSPort, SFS, or equivalents Experience with budgeting/accounting systems like Sage MIP Fund Accounting is a plus Benefits Overview
