TieTalent Summary The Application System Analyst II serves as a liaison between system end-users (customers), operational leaders, support resources, and vendors to design, build, and optimize applications efficiently. The role involves providing application support, working closely with the Service Desk, analyzing business requirements, and contributing to project implementation of medium to high complexity activities. The candidate must have healthcare knowledge and systems expertise, be self-motivated, and possess excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Analyze, develop, test, document, educate, implement, support, and optimize assigned applications and business processes. Collaborate across teams, propose practical solutions, and manage projects effectively. Provide subject matter expertise, utilize training resources, and guide team members. Identify opportunities to enhance usability and efficiency, and communicate project status clearly. Perform process and requirements analysis, including process mapping and gap analysis. Articulate complex issues to end users and stakeholders, maintaining relationships post-engagement. Contribute to strategic discussions, facilitate decision-making, and adhere to change control standards. Design and configure applications, communicate concepts clearly, and develop strong relationships with stakeholders. Coordinate code changes, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and share industry best practices. Serve as a liaison among business, IT, users, and vendors for issue resolution. Follow change management processes, deliver clear documentation, and communicate proactively. Review and improve personal and team skills, troubleshoot incidents independently, and manage medium projects. Complete training, meet departmental goals, escalate SLAs breaches, and may travel or work additional hours as needed. Assist in training, identify new opportunities, and perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred in healthcare, business, or information systems. Strong data presentation skills, adaptability, problem-solving, multitasking, and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent customer service, and communication skills. At least 3+ years of experience, including 2+ years in healthcare or related fields. Ability to solve moderate incidents, develop new functionalities, and work independently with minimal supervision. Mentoring experience and certifications in relevant areas are preferred. For Epic Analysts: Certification or proficiency in assigned Epic module (must be obtained within 6 months), and maintenance of certifications.
