A law firm is seeking an accomplished litigation attorney to join its thriving practice devoted to representing individuals in high-stakes injury claims. This is a compelling opportunity to work on serious bodily injury and tort cases within a high-energy legal team that values results, client care, and courtroom excellence. Key Responsibilities:
Manage a robust caseload of injury-related civil matters from initial pleadings through resolution. Handle pre-trial litigation, including written discovery, depositions, expert coordination, and motion practice. Advocate for clients in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and, when necessary, full trials. Work closely with intake, paralegal, and medical review teams to prepare files and maximize case value. Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive briefs and arguments tailored to injury-related litigation. Negotiate settlements and communicate directly with insurance representatives, defense counsel, and courts. Candidate Profile & Experience:
3 to 8 years of litigation experience, ideally in plaintiff-side personal injury or civil trial law. Demonstrated skill in managing injury claims involving automobile accidents, premises liability, or catastrophic damages. Strong comfort level with discovery disputes, procedural rules, and courtroom dynamics. Capable of balancing multiple active cases while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Education & Licensing:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a nationally accredited law school. Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the state of California (or eligible for immediate admission). Exceptional written and verbal advocacy skills. Strategic thinker with a proactive and assertive litigation style. Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational habits. Driven by client outcomes and motivated to achieve justice for the injured. Adaptable to working independently or as part of a collaborative legal team.
