Job Title: Applications Engineer
Job Description
This position supports the Applications Engineering group, functioning as the Research & Development team. The role involves front-end development where you will test materials and their reactions with lasers. You will be responsible for developing capabilities, processing speeds, and quality of laser processing, along with system configuration required for production applications. You will process sample parts for prospective or current customers and document results in reports presented to clients.

Demonstrate verified processes to clients and engineering teams.
Travel domestically and internationally to work with engineering teams at client sites.

Work Environment The team consists of four engineers and a manager, with a mix of higher rand lower levels. Dress code is business casual in the office/shop, with appropriate attire provided for customer site visits. The position is salaried and may require additional hours while traveling. The team values an outgoing personality and enjoys a lighthearted atmosphere. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr. Strong Internal Company Benefits.
