Jobright.ai Greystones Group is a fast-growing woman-owned small business supporting our Nation’s Defense and Critical Infrastructure Agencies with best-in-class artificial intelligence and big data analytics capabilities. They are seeking a Junior Database Developer to support the Navy by designing, developing, and implementing databases for metrics analysis and reporting, focusing on optimizing data collection and enhancing the quality of metrics analysis. Responsibilities: • Work closely with Subject Matter Experts to design, develop, update and maintain databases used to track and report data metrics and perform interpretive analysis. • Support existing and newly development databases aligned with maintenance, sustainment, and other operational requirements. • Work with technical, multi-user, web-based systems such as Microsoft Access, SharePoint, SQL and similar platforms. • Assist in developing streamlined processes to reduce unnecessary and duplicate work. • Identify, formulate, develop and prepare comprehensive and long-term process improvement recommendations. • Provide department heads with qualitative and quantitative reports, graphs, and charts to evaluate and measure the effectiveness of data collection, data analysis, objectives and goals. • Participate in weekly and monthly meetings to make recommendations on best practices for meeting requirements. • Pull reports and queries and perform analysis and metrics on the data to meet business needs. Qualifications: Required: • Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of equivalent military or commercial experience. • 3+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence. • Experience with Access, SharePoint, MS Office Suite, SQL, VBA, and HTML. • Knowledge of Navy data systems and cybersecurity standards. • Experience creating reports and presenting to high level executives. • Ability to pull reports and queries and perform data analysis.
