Prestigious international bank seeks a Relationship Manager to cover Asian Corporate clients in the US.
The position involves originating and executing corporate finance deals for large-cap corporate subsidiaries as part of a global team, including primary RMs of the parent companies in Asia. This role will originate business with new and existing clients and drive broader cross-sell opportunities for the Bank.
Deliver value-added financing solutions to existing and prospective clients to augment client relationships and obtain transaction mandates.
Effectively manage client relationships to improve results and meet revenue targets. Responsible for a portfolio of client relationships, involving travel and regular presentations to clients.
Execute against business strategy for the team to enhance client relationships, increase market penetration, and maximize profitability.
Manage all aspects of new transactions from origination, credit approval, documentation, and closing.
Participate in the ongoing monitoring of the portfolio of existing clients, proactively owning, responding to, and anticipating any future needs, challenges, or risks, and escalating in a timely manner.
Work with product specialists and subject matter experts across the bank to structure customized solutions that meet clients’ unique needs.
Leverage the expertise and capabilities of other banking businesses in alignment with the strategy of the Bank.
Stay abreast of industry trends and developments.
Collaborate with colleagues in the banking group.
Requirements
5 to 7 years of specialized experience
Minimum of 3 years of banking experience in financial analysis and credit structuring at a corporate or investment bank.
Required: BA / BS
Preferred: MA / MS / MBA
Formal credit training a plus.
CFA/CPA preferred
Business fluency in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese (preferred)
Proficient in MS Office Suite, Bloomberg, and Capital IQ
