Chemicals / Performance Materials Overview: Seeking a strategic and growth-minded Senior Business Development Manager to lead global commercial strategies and innovation initiatives across North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This role is responsible for identifying new markets, driving business expansion, and executing cross-functional growth projects aligned with the company’s global objectives. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute commercial and business development strategies across global regions Lead and manage strategic growth projects with clear deliverables and tracking Deliver market, business, and competitive intelligence to guide product and application strategies Build and present business cases for new opportunities and gain cross-functional alignment Identify and evaluate merger, acquisition, and capital investment opportunities Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, and technology teams to drive innovation Interface with customers, sales teams, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to uncover new commercial or technical opportunities Support patent and licensing strategy development Mentor and lead junior business development and marketing professionals Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field (required) MBA is a plus 15+ years of experience in B2B marketing or business development within the chemical or manufacturing industries Strong experience in market strategy, product launches Proven success leading cross-functional innovation or growth projects Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
