Overview:
Seeking a strategic and data-driven Market Intelligence & Commodities Manager to lead commercial strategy, market analysis, and business development initiatives across North/South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This individual will support key chemical product lines to drive sustainable business growth aligned with global objectives.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute commercial strategies across multiple regions for select chemical product lines
Deliver market, business, and competitive intelligence to guide strategy and opportunity planning
Manage strategic project plans with clear timelines and deliverables
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the portfolio
Evaluate potential M&A and capital investment opportunities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, and Technology) on innovation and growth projects
Engage with customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders to uncover new technical or commercial opportunities
Contribute to patent and licensing strategy development for emerging areas
Mentor and support junior marketing and business development staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field (required)
MBA (preferred but not required)
15+ years of experience in B2B marketing or business development within the chemical industry
Proven success in commodity and specialty markets, ideally within the energy sector
Strong background in market intelligence and strategic analysis
Experience managing and mentoring teams
Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
