Sales Executive

for its Employee Benefits division. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a values-driven team focused on delivering exceptional service and innovative risk solutions for its clients. Key Responsibilities Business Development:

Proactively identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities in the Employee Benefits market, utilizing both personal and company networks. Client Management:

Build, maintain, and expand strong client relationships; act as the primary contact for clients, supported by a dedicated service team. Consultative Sales:

Analyze client needs, develop tailored solutions, and lead strategy discussions for complex accounts. Cross-Selling: Identify and act upon cross-sell and account rounding opportunities across practice areas. Pipeline Management:

Maintain an active pipeline at least 3x annual sales targets, ensuring consistent achievement of sales goals. Market Leadership:

Stay abreast of industry trends, carrier offerings, and regulatory changes; educate clients and offer forward-thinking risk management strategies. Collaboration: Partner closely with internal teams to ensure timely renewals, carrier negotiations, and seamless client service. Mentorship & Expansion:

Demonstrate leadership in mentorship, market growth, or team development initiatives. Who You Are Experienced: Minimum 6+ years of insurance agency sales experience in Employee Benefits, with a strong track record in the middle to large group segment (100+ lives). Stable: At least 3 years tenure in your most recent role; a history of stable employment. Licensed: Active Life & Health license required; CEBS designation is an advantage. Consultative: Proven relationship builder with a consultative, solution-oriented sales approach. Driven: Self-starter, motivated to succeed, with the ability to work independently in an expansion market. Collaborative: Comfortable working in a team environment and engaging in cross-functional projects. Location: Based in, or willing to relocate to, Chicago, IL.
