Product Consultant(Product AI)
role reports to the Head of Product Innovation and will be responsible for helping to inform and shape the application of AI in our product offerings. It will involve collaborating closely with our business partners as a subject matter expert on innovation and the applications of artificial intelligence and championing opportunities to apply AI responsibly within our processes and products. You will be asked to think big, imagine creative applications of emerging technologies to help consumers with their everyday financial lives, and work with our partners to deliver on those concepts in a thoughtful, controlled and scalable way.

Responsibilities: Lead efforts to identify opportunities to enhance product offerings to fit client's existing and future needs and support continued growth and operational excellence Leverage customer insights and competitive intelligence as inputs to the innovation process to organize, size, and prioritize opportunities by segment and audience Facilitate exploration and ideation workshops for new concepts with diverse stakeholders across lines of business focused on customer segments, their needs, core product offerings and features to meet those needs Formalize ideas and service concepts into compelling, profitable, and differentiated value propositions, to include measuring benefits and value for customers Partner with lines of business to develop new products and features, marketing approaches and digital experience enhancements for target segments Manage risk through implementing and monitoring effective controls in partnership with key support partners Supports comprehensive plans for product development and deployment, including engaging in the creation of sales training programs and marketing materials to educate clients and internal teams on product capabilities Maintains product financials, including managing the investment profile and profit and loss (P&L) activities, such as revenue and profit margins Provides information on product trends to sales and marketing teams leveraging knowledge of product functionality, marketplace trends, and the competitive landscape Assists with streamlining or enhancing product offerings to fit client's existing and future needs to support continued growth and operational excellence Manages risk through implementing and monitoring effective controls in partnership with key support partners Partners with internal stakeholders to obtain meaningful insights about markets, clients, and competitors in order to develop products that solve client needs and ensure high adoption rates Required Qualifications: 5+ years delivering results in financial services, fintech, or management consulting Outstanding communication and presentation skills (both verbal and written), able to concisely summarize key observations, clearly articulate considerations, and propose solutions and next steps Strong ability to collaborate and engage across functions and business lines and build strong working relationships with business partners at all levels of management – be someone others want to work with able to influence decision-making Exhibits a drive for results and success, demonstrates a sense of urgency to achieve outcomes, and routinely exceeds expectations Displayed passion for emerging technologies, including AI, and the keen ability to think big and imagine creative applications of technology to help consumers with their everyday financial lives Working with Data to tell a story Advanced Excel experience Advanced PowerPoint experience Desired Qualifications: Experience leading ideation working sessions as part of an innovation process and an understanding of digital / product touch points in consumer finance with a broad knowledge of digital best practices and strategies in the industry a plus Project management experience Skills: Administrative Services Attention to Detail Collaboration Reporting Written Communications Continuous Improvement Oral Communications Problem Solving Process Management Product Management Business Analytics Critical Thinking Market Analysis Research Strategic Thinking Shift: 1st shift (United States of America)
