$110 per hour + Travel, Lodging, and Transportation Reimbursement Position Overview:

Provides comprehensive family medicine services within the scope of training and experience to patients of all ages and genders. Key Responsibilities: Provides primary care including diagnosis, treatment, minor procedures, care coordination, referrals, preventive care, and health maintenance. Participates in shared urgent/emergent care on-call rotation. Maintains accurate documentation per SEARHC policy. Delivers excellent patient experience through effective communication. Builds long-term patient relationships. Consults with SEARHC physicians and specialists as needed. Provides services at SEARHC facilities and other locations per agreements. Participates in quality care initiatives and staff meetings. Additional Functions: Participates in after-hours emergency call coverage depending on community needs. Qualifications: Alaska Medical License as NP or PA Board certification in relevant specialty Active DEA registration SEARHC medical staff privileges BLS certification ACLS, PALS, ATLS certifications within 1 year for providers in remote clinics performing after-hours emergency work ALSO training preferred for remote after-hours providers Experience: Minimum two years of practicing provider experience Knowledge: Primary healthcare principles Emergency care protocols Common diseases and pharmacology Standards of care, EMTALA, HIPAA, risk management, ethics, malpractice Skills: Effective communication Operating medical equipment Assessment and diagnostics Health promotion and prevention Patient education Providing outpatient and emergency procedures Abilities: Teamwork and collaboration Conflict resolution Electronic medical records proficiency Active listening Clear communication Problem-solving Implementing clinical strategies Work Environment:
