We are seeking a Family Medicine Provider to deliver comprehensive family health services across all ages and genders within the scope of training and experience.
Key Responsibilities
Provide primary care including diagnosis, treatment, minor procedures, care coordination, referrals, and preventive services. Participate in urgent/emergent care on-call rotation. Maintain accurate documentation per SEARHC policies. Ensure a positive patient experience through effective communication. Build long-term patient relationships. Consult with SEARHC physicians and access specialists as needed. Deliver services at various SEARHC facilities and locations per agreements. Engage in quality assurance initiatives and staff meetings. Additional Functions
Participate in after-hours emergency call coverage as community needs dictate. Qualifications
Alaska Medical License as NP or PA. Board certification in relevant specialty. Active, unrestricted DEA registration. SEARHC medical staff privileges. BLS certification; ACLS, PALS, ATLS within 1 year for providers in remote clinics. Preferred: ALSO training for emergency providers in remote clinics. Experience & Knowledge
Minimum two years of practice experience. Knowledge of primary healthcare principles, emergency protocols, disease processes, pharmacology, and healthcare standards. Skills & Abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with medical equipment and electronic health records. Ability to assess, educate, and deliver quality care. Teamwork, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills. Work Environment
Full-time, Monday-Friday with after-hours call responsibilities.
